Shannon Haswell is a Welsh artist based in Cardiff. Using a juxtaposing mix of gestural mark making and mindful brushstrokes, she creates calm, colourful pieces that seek balance and equilibrium. Working predominantly with watercolour, acrylic and pastels, Shannon also utilises collage, pattern and negative space to find harmony within her work, drawing inspiration from landscapes, nature and the changing seasons - and their relation to us.
